It all started in the administrative trenches.
My career began in traditional customer service and admin roles. But as a single mother to three children, the standard 9-to-5 model was unsustainable. The need for flexibility led me to remote administrative work, a move that would unexpectedly redefine my entire career path.
As a Virtual Assistant, I dove headfirst into the day-to-day operations of UK businesses. I wasn't just managing inboxes and calendars; I was on the front line, seeing exactly where systems broke down and where inefficiency festered. I saw a pattern: so much time was lost to repetitive, manual tasks. I couldn't shake the question, "There has to be a better way to do this."
That question sparked a mission to find a better way, not just for me, but for my clients.
The Search for Greater Efficiency
From simply doing the work to optimising it.
My mission led me to the world of automation. I discovered tools like Google Apps Script and realised I could build bridges between the disconnected systems that caused so much frustration. I started by automating my own admin, and the efficiency I unlocked was a game-changer.
I immediately began applying these new skills to my clients' businesses. My role evolved. I was no longer just a service provider completing a to-do list; I became a business efficiency specialist, actively seeking out bottlenecks and building simple automations to eliminate them, making my core VA services more valuable and impactful than ever.
